ARNOLD JOHN ALBERTZ DIES AT 68; WIDOW, CHILDREN SURVIVE
Arnold John Albertz, 68, of 181 Gillett St., died at 9:20 p.m. Tuesday at St. Agnes hospital following a one-month illness.
He was born May 30, 1897, in the Town of Pella, Shawano County, the son of Gottlieb and Alma Staude Albertz. He married Flora Martens on May 4, 1918, in Chetek and resided in Shawano until 1930. Moving to Fond du Lac he was employed as a machinist and as an automobile mechanic for Service Motors.
Survivors include his widow; three sons, Arnold, Horicon; and Milton and Lincoln, Fond du Lac; seven daughters, Mrs. Ernest Roberts, Mrs. Lester Schwartz, Mrs. Fred Bender, Mrs. LeRoy Schaetzel, Miss Ruth Albertz and Mrs. Richard Bernath, Fond du Lac, and Mrs. Kenneth Lamb, Ft. Campbell, Ky.; 27 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren

Other survivors include one brother, Edgar, Dagett, Mich; and five sisters, Mrs. Charles Sell and Mrs. Fred Gruetzmacher, Shawano, Mrs. George Ristau and Mrs. Herman Englehardt, North Fond du Lac, and Mrs. John Kleman, Milwaukee. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, two brothers and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Rev. Walter Hoeopner officiating. Burial will be in Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. Thursday at the Bidlingmaier Funeral Home. The body will be removed at 11 a.m. Friday to the church and lie in state until the time of services.
