James Edgel Christian, Age 72 of Hurley, Virginia passed away Sunday October 23, 2016, at his home following an extended illness.
Born May 11, 1944 in Buchanan County, he was the son of James Walter Christian and Martha Elizabeth Justus Christian. He was a disabled coal miner. Edgel enjoyed Bluegrass Music, four wheel riding and spending time at the store with his buddy Dennis.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Pauline Christian, Seven brothers, Steward, Johnny, Jr., A.C. Bill, Henry and
Auldie Christian and one sister Cholie Stacy.

With a service being held both Tuesday and Wednesday evenings
