Ada M. Hileman, 95, of Kiski Township, died Monday (March 17, 2003) in West Haven Nursing Home, Washington Township, where she was a patient for two weeks.

Born Jan. 1, 1908, in Kiski Township, she lived there for most of her life.

Mrs. Hileman was a member of Spring Church Lutheran Church, Spring Church, Kiski Township.

Survivors include two sons, William L. and Ralph Hileman Jr., both of Kiski Township; a daughter, Mrs. Bertha Mae (John) Barth of Tavares, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Robert and Dale Shellhammer, both of Kiski Township and Eugene Shellhammer of Texas; and eight sisters, Iva Rupp of Apollo, Ula Kepple of Kiski Township, Vida Burns of Brady Township, Esta Bawal of Lancaster, Nina Brown of Parks, Bertha Whitlinger of Kansas, Reta Ellenberger of Buffalo, N.Y., and Rena Henderson of Young Township.

Also surviving is her friend, Clarence Smoyer of Kiski Township.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Ralph Hileman, in 1990; her parents, F. Ralph and Bertha Bittner Shellhammer; three brothers, Daniel, Charles, and John Shellhammer; and three sisters, Eva Goldinger, Ola Brown and Elva Barber.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the CURRAN-SHAFFER FUNERAL HOME INC., 100 Owens View Drive, Apollo, where services will be at 10 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Elaine Hower will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
