She was born in Sylvania, Pa., July 27, 1843. Mrs. Butterfield moved to Wisconsin Rapids when a young girl. She was married there to John Butterfield, who died in 1894.
Coming to Appleton, she lived here until 1928 when she moved to Binghampton, N.Y. She returned to this city three years ago.
Survivors are one brother, John Alexander, Philadelphia, Pa. and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon at Hoh Funeral Home with Rev. F.C. Reuter in charge. Burial will be in Appleton Highland Memorial Park. The body will be at the funeral home from Wednesday noon to the hour of services.
