Aaron Blowers
Aaron Christopher Blowers, 16, a Grass Valley resident for part of eight years, died Tuesday after a fall at Deer Creek Falls.
Blowers was born June 20, 1973, in Deer Park, Wash. He attended school there and locally at Union Hill, Gilmore, Hennessy and Nevada Union High schools as well as at Marysville High School.
Blowers was active in soccer, football, skate boarding, snowboarding, hiking, swimming, fishing and camping, biking and weight lifting.
He had been active in the Bethel Church of Grass Valley as well as the New Life Assembly Church of Marysville.
Blowers is survived by his mother Marie Paull of Grass Valley, sisters Anie Watson of Grass Valley and Leisa Ice of Southern California; brother Bob Watson of Nevada City and three grandparents.
A memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hooper & Weaver Mortuary, Nevada City with William Mansdoerfer officiating.
