Rosalena Jean Murrill Holton died at her home in Jackson on May 12, 2015. She was a native and resident of Clarke County. Born Jan. 1, 1964, she was 51 years of age. Rosalena was a homebody but had many hobbies. Some hobbies were collecting dreamcatchers, dolphins, lighthouses and unicorns. Rosalena loved Indian artifacts and working in her flower gardens. She loved to go fishing and enjoyed being around the water. She would have brought the outside "inside", if possible. Rosalena loved her family, children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

Survivors include her husband, William Louis Holton Sr. of Jackson; daughter, Crystal Lynn Holton of Clarke County; sons, Donald Lee (Leigh) Murrill of Chatom, Joshua Lee (Michelle) Murrill and William Louis (Jodi) Holton Jr., both of Clarke County; a sister, Anna Marie (Manuel) Murrill of Grand Bay; seven grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services were Friday, May 13, at Walker Springs Road Baptist Church in Jackson, with the Rev. David Webb officiating and St. Stephens Funeral Home directing.

Preceding her in death were her daughter, Charity Jane Murrill; grandson, Colby Lee Busby; and parents, Clarence Earl Murrill and Barbara Larryce Kearse.

Pallbearers were Bud Jones, Carl Bailey, Wayne Looper, Scott Murrill and Frank Murrill.
