AGNES HAZEL DETHROW Mrs. Agnes Hazel Dethrow 56, died Monday morning at a local hospital following a lengthy illness. She was born April 21, 1907 at Haskell, Okla., moving with her family to Okmulgee in 1924 and graduating from Okmulgee high school in 1925. For many years she was employed by the J. C. Penny company.

In 1942 she went to work for the Phillips Refinery in the traffic section.

She was married to William Leonard Dethrow in 1948 and she and her husband were transferred to the Kansas City Refinery where they remained until their retirement and return to Okmulgee in 1961.

Surviving is her husband, William Leonard Dethrow of the home at 1600 East Fourth; her mother, Mrs. G. W. Neptune, 1009 East Eighth; two sisters, Mrs. Stanley C. Kelley, Pasadena, Tex.; and Mrs. Max E. Weaver, 1319 East Eighth; one brother, Everett B. Neptune, Old Ocean, Tex.; one stepson, Donald Leon Dethrow, Wichita, Kans.; and one step-daughter, Iris Dean Emerick, Anahiem, Calif.

Mrs. Dethrow was a member of the Okmulgee First Christian church where she was active in the primary department as long as her health allowed. She was also a member of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority and had served it as president in the past. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the First Christian church. Interment will be in the Okmulgee cemetery under the direction of the Buchanan Funeral Home.
