GILLIS RITES ON WEDNESDAY A BEULAH CHURCH
Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at Beulah Church for Norman W. Gillis, 44, Glenwood community farmer who died July 4 at this home. Rev R. L. Robinson officiated and Sammons Funeral Home was in charge.

Pall bearers included Loren Evans, Edgar Elliott, Colen Gillis, Grady Foskey, Earl Coury, and Hilburn Ricks.

Mr. Gillis was born and reared in Wheeler County and was a member of the Methodist Church. He was married in 1926 to the former Miss Roberta Lord.

Survivors include, Mrs. Gillis; two sons, Carson of Savannah, and Adene of Glenwood. Five brothers, Seward, Adolphus, Jerome, and Gordon Gillis all of Glenwood, and Olen Gillis of Leesburg, Ga; three sisters, Miss Bessie Gillis, Mrs. Dovie Edge, and Mrs. Kate Barwick.
