ABEYTA, JOSE ABEDON
82, Recently a resident of Espanola and a former lifelong resident of Abiquiu passed away at the Espanola Hospital yesterday morning after a lengthy illness. He was preceded in death by his late wife Mary Irene Suazo on January 8, 1966. Surviving him are two sons Levy Abeyta and wife Margaret of Alamogordo, F.A. (Jimmy) Abeyta of Espanola, three daughters Eloisa and husband Videl Garcia of Hernandez, Berly and husband Tony Lamuth of Concord, California and Loretta and husband Herman Valdez of Velarde, a very dear friend, Mrs. Mary Baca of Santa Cruz, a sister, Mrs. Aurelia Maestas of Superior, Arizona, two brothers, Fermin Abeyta and wife Sabrina of Superior Arizona, and Porfirio Abeyta of Durango, Colorado, a sister-in-law Mrs. Margarita Suazo of Abiquiu, twenty five grand children, seven great grand children, several nephews, nieces and many other relatives. Rosary will be recited at 7:30 this evening at Block-Salazar Mortuary Chapel in Espanola. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 tomorrow afternoon from the St. Thomas Church in Abiquiu with Reverend Father Juan Mendez celebrating the Liturgy of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in the Abiquiu Catholic Cemetery. Block Salazar Mortuary in Espanola.
