T. H. BLAIR, pioneer resident of Beaver county, died at his home east of Gray Tuesday morning. He was 77 years of age.
Funeral services will be held this afternoon, Thursday, at the Methodist church, with W. C. Bryan officiating. He will be assisted by Rev. D. W. Burkhalter.
Mr. BLAIR homesteaded in Beaver county in 1905 and farmed there until his retirement a few years ago. He had been ill for the past four years.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy, a son, James R. BLAIR, Gray, a daughter, Mrs. Lee CRAWFORD, of Gray, a brother S. M. BLAIR, Winfield, Ala., and five grandchildren.
Pallbearers at the services will be Daniel NEWMAN, Clyde Jamison, Joseph JOHNSON, W. M. GRAY, Charles PRICE, Bruce JOHNSON.
Honorary pallbearers are A. E. PITTMAN, Elias PADGET, J. H. WOODWARD, Arthur PEARSON, Arthur GRAY, Edgar PRIBBLE, Harry EVINS, T. W. GRAY, J. H. NEUFELD, Jim SIMS, Lake PATTON and Gerald KERNS.
Interment will be in the Blue Mound cemetery.

Services were held Thursday April 6, at the First Methodist church of Perryton for Thomas (Hal) BLAIR, pioneer resident of Beaver county, who died Tuesday morning, April 24, at his home east of Gray. W. C. BRYAN of Perryton conducted the services, assisted by D. W. BURKHALTER of the Bethel Baptist church.

Thomas Harrison BLAIR was born November 27, 1873, to James Lawson BLAIR and Frances Unity BLAIR, Alto Tenn., Franklin county.

He grew to manhood near Alto, then attended the University of the South at Sewanee, Tenn., for two years, studying in the School of Medicine.

The call of the west attracted him and he came to Chickasha, Indian Territory, Oklahoma, in 1892, where he was employed by the Rock Island railroad.

He moved to Beaver county southeast of Gray in 1905 where he homesteaded, making his home there until his death.

He was united in marriage to Nancy Elizabeth WHITE, Pelham, Tenn., on Jan. 21, 1909. To this union was born two children, James BLAIR of Gray and Mrs. Lee CRAWFORD, also of Gray.

He was united with the Methodist church at an early age. He became ill in 1939 and for the past three years was bedfast.

Survivors include the wife, Nannie, the two children, a brother, Stephen M. BLAIR, Winfield, Ala., and a great-nephew, Bill MORELAND of Chattanooga, Tenn. Two sisters and three brothers preceded him in death.

Burial was in the Blue Mound cemetery.

Active pallbearers were Daniel NEWMAN, Joseph JOHNSTON, Charles PRICE, Clyde JAMISON, W. M. GRAY and Bruce JOHNSON.

Honorary pallbearers were J. H. WOODWARD, E. M. PADGET, Arthur GRAY, Harry EVINS, J. H. NEUFELD, A. E. PITTMAN, Arthur PEARSON, Edgar PRIBBLE, T. M. GRAY, Jim SIMS, Gerald KERNS.

Relatives and friends attending from out-of-town were Mrs. Lee MOORE, Canyon; Mr. and Mrs. Grady PEARSON, Spearman; John MOORE, Canyon; Mr. and Mrs. Arden NEFF, Guymon; Audean GRAY, Zora GRAY, both of Amarillo; and Jim BRYANT of Laverne.
