Michael K. Billmann, 63, of 97 Raider Hts, Kiel died Thursday evening, October 20, 2016 at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice, surrounded by his family, after a 27 year battle with brain cancer.

He was born April 23, 1953 in Sheboygan, son of Patricia (Schmidt) Billmann and the late Kenneth Billmann. Mike attended Kohler Schools and was a 1971 graduate of Kohler High School. He was a proud veteran, serving his country in the U.S. Army.

On June 16, 1984 he was united in marriage to the former Faye Reinl at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Kiel. Mike had worked in various sales jobs until 1986 when he began working for Donohue and Associates. He worked in the Sheboygan location through various name changes as a Senior Tech in the Environmental division, retiring due to health from AE Com in 2009.

Mike was a faithful member of SS Peter & Paul Parish, Kiel, where he served on the Board of Education. He was a member of the Wagner-Eberle-Sukowaty American Legion Post #477, St. Nazianz and the Knights of Columbus St. Joseph the Worker Council of Kiel. Mike was a former member of the KEEF (Kiel Education Endowment Fund) Board, SS Peter & Paul Board of Education and the Kiel Kiwanis Club.

In his free time he enjoyed attending his childrens sporting events and spending time with his granddaughters. Mike has been a Minnesota Vikings fan since they joined the league in 1960 and always reminded family and friends of his favorite team.

Survivors include his wife, Faye; mother, Patricia; daughter, Michelle (Raymond) Zalewski, Kewaskum; sons: Eric (Danielle), Kiel; Adam (Michelle), Saukville; granddaughters: Audrey & Addison, and two grandchildren due in November and April; brothers: Steven, Sheboygan; Bradley (Kathy), rural New Holstein; sisters: Suzzanne (Bradley) Isaacs, Sheboygan; Fran (Michael) Koch, Waunakee; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Glenn (Sara Krebsbach) Reinl, Madison; Jan “Schlingo” (Jill) Reinl, Kiel; Scott (Barb) Reinl, Sheboygan: Jane (Matthew) Paltzer, Wisconsin Rapids; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Mike was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth; infant brother, Brian; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Eugene &Viann Reinl.

Funeral Mass For Mike will be held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church (1724 Madison St. New Holstein) on Monday, October 24, 2016 at 6:00 pm.

Family and friends may call at the church on Monday from 2:00pm until 5:45pm when we will have brief family rites prior to Mass. Burial in the SS Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery, Kiel.
