David Eugene Overstreet, age 62 of North Little Rock, Arkansas passed from this life on Thursday, October 20th, 2016 at his home. He was born in Marshall, Arkansas on April 14th, 1954 to R.T. Overstreet and Patricia (Sanders) Overstreet.
David spent most of his life as a dry wall hanger. He spent many hours working alongside his brother Troy. David was a country boy from Leslie, Arkansas who enjoyed the simple things of life. He loved spending time outdoors and being with his friends and family brought him much joy.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Patricia (Sanders) Overstreet of the home; children, Matthew Overstreet of Maumelle and Crystal (Jake) Ragland of Marshall; grandchildren, Katie and Brantley Ragland; siblings, Troy (Ava) Overstreet of North Little Rock, Robert (Shirley) Overstreet of Marshall, Thomas Overstreet of Leslie, Walter (Violet) Overstreet of Conway and Gladys Gabrielian of Newport Beach, CA; and many other friends and family who will also mourn his passing.
David is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Willie Overstreet; and two half sisters, Sally Rains and Abby Kimbrell.
Graveside services for David will be 3:00 PM Saturday, October 22nd, 2016 at Nubbin Hill Cemetery near Leslie with Bro. Gary Ragland officiating.
