Della appears to have had three marriages. First to Frank Decker, second to Thomas Fry and third to Hiram Eickleberry after the death of Thomas. Many of her records such as census and marriage list her as "Elizabeth D.", but her tombstone is "Della".

Obituary from the Wayne County Press, 2/16/1961:

Della Eckleberry, 95, has died. Burial in Russell cemetery, Johnsonville. Born January 1, 1866 in Johnsonville to Wesley and Nancy Taylor Speagle. She was first married to Frank Decker. They had one son. She later married Thomas Fry. They had five children. A son, John, preceded her in death. After Thomas died, she married Hiram Eckleberry who has also preceded her in death. She leaves three sons, Charles Fry of Clay City, Taylor Fry of Montgomery and Asa Decker of Atmore, Tennessee and two daughters, Nancy Tibbs of Pontiac and Mrs. Harry [Ruth] Eckleberry of Fairfield and two sisters, Effie Ceckels of Decatur and Ada Alvis of Dinuba, California.
