Catherine V Gerber, 61, Route 3, died Saturday morning at Carthage Area Hospital after being ill with Mesothelioma, an aggressive Thoracic cancer.
Born June 19, 1945, in Carthage, daughter of Alfred and Mary McIntyre Lozo, graduated from Carthage Augustinian Academy in 1962.
A 1963 marriage to Gilbert Gerber ended in divorce.
Surviving are a daughter and her husband, Lisa and John Woop, Lyons Falls; two sons, Christopher, Nashua, N.H. and Bryan, Natural Bridge; a sister, Stephanie Clark, Natural Bridge, a grandson and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Three brothers, Donald, Roger and Richard Lozo died before her.
