CONNERSVILLE. Mrs. Edna N. Riggs, 79 years old, living on Rural Route 6 in the Longwood community, west of Connersville, died Thursday evening after a short illness. She had lived in her present home since 1879. She was born in Harrison township, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Ludlow, and the widow of James Riggs, who died in 1946. Mrs. Riggs was a member of the Fayette County Garden club; the Martha circle and Review club at Harrisburg, and the West Connersville Home Economics club. She is survived by one brother, Orris Ludlow. Funeral services for Mrs. Riggs will be at 10 a. m. Monday at the Thompson and Brown funeral home, with burial in Dale cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday.
