Better known as Bud. He was the third children from the union of Alburn Joseph Collier and Tennie Elizabeth Barnes. Married Eula Mae Arp on November 17, 1934 in Roscoe, Texas. From this union 4 children were born; Norma Jean, Carman Lamoin; Bethel Eugene; and Chester Leon. For most of his life, he was a resident of Scurry and Nolan County, Texas, where he was a farmer. Had a passion in life for motorcycles. Rode them even when he was in his 70'd. He was a member of the Smiley Street Church of Christ in Loraine, Texas. He died at his home in Sweetwater, Texas from a heart attack
