Gerald Avon LaForce, 78, of Hallsville passed away May 26, 2016. Gerald was born on May 20, 1938 in Moberly, MO to the late Avon and Delphine (Greene) LaForce. A celebration of life was held June 12, 2016 at Redtop Christian Church in Hallsville beginning with a gathering of friends and family from 3-4 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 4 p.m. A private family burial was held at a later date. He is survived by his four children, his seven grandchildren, as well as many great and great-great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Laurie LaForce and his sister, Kay Alexander.
