SAVANNAH - Ms. Janie Lee Greene Palmer, 54 departed this life on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at Memorial Health University Medical Center. She was a native of Savannah and educated in the public schools. She attended Robert W. Groves High School. She worked as a Bus Monitor for First Student for many years. She was a member of Deliverance Prayer Tower.
Surviving are: four daughters, Ashley Washington, Monsia Washington, Kintrell Briscoe (James), Jaudae Morrell; two sons, Shareif Palmer and Jerome Washington, her mother, Vera Greene all of Savannah, GA; father, James W. Orr (Sara) of Rochester, NY; two sisters; Sharon Scarlett of Lakeland, FL, and Ellen M. Orr of Savannah, GA, four brothers, Anthony B. Owens, Sean Orr, James Powell (Latonya) and Jimmy Orr all of Savannah, GA; 6 grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
