The couple made their home in Armstrong where Bonnie was employed as a custodian at Art's Way Manufacturing for 12 years in Armstrong. She retired in 1992. Leo passed away in December of 1996. In her leisure time she enjoyed gardening, traveling, baking, fishing, bird watching and her favorite passtime, watching tv. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
Left to cherish Bonnie's memory are her son's, Larry Walders and his wife, Kim of Armstrong, Terry Walders and his wife, Rosa of Ottumwa, Iowa; daughter, Dawn Brown and her husband, Gary of Armstrong; many grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; brother, Duane Fisher and his wife, Kay of Des Moines, Iowa; sister, Linda Johnson and her husband, John of Washington; half-brother, David Ford and his wife, Bobbie of Seattle, Washington and brother, Andy Ford of Spokane, Washington.
