Rosa Faye Hunt of LaPorte, Texas passed away Friday, November 28, 2003. Born November 20, 1933 in Bartlett, Texas, she was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Mable Sartor Hamblin of Rockport, Texas.
She was a devoted mother to Diane Callahan and Son-in-law, Wayne of Rogers, Arkansas; Rosa Lynn Petty of Deer Park, Texas; Blane Hunt and daughter-in-law, Kim of Deer Park, Texas; loving grandmother to Gran and Amy Callahan, Sean and Chad Petty, Carson Hunt and Kristy Barnett. She is survived by life-long friend, Frank Hunt, two sister, Wilbern Terry Kinsey and brother-in-law, Howard, of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Joy Lewis and brother-in-law, Rex, of George West, Texas; Aunt Madeline Creiglow, Houston, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was a member of Frist United Methodist Church of LaPorte, Texas, Houston area Emmaus Community and Beta Sigma Phi.
Visitation with the family will be held Sunday, November 30, 2003 from 5pm until 8pm at Grand View Funeral Home, 8301 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, Texas. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 1, 2003 at 10am at First United Methodist Church, 9601 Fairmont Parkway, LaPorte, Texas.
