Linda Lou Harney Ammerman, age 74, of Cynthiana, Kentucky, died Friday, October 14, 2016, at Harrison Memorial Hospital, in Cynthiana. She was born in Harrison County, Kentucky, on January 29, 1942, a daughter of the late Irvin Estill and Edna Garrison Harney. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, and she loved her family beyond measure. She was a member of Beaver Baptist Church and the Women's Missionary Union.

Her husband, William Joseph "Bill" Ammerman, preceded her in death. Survivors include: a son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey Lee and LeAnn Lemons Ammerman, of Georgetown; two granddaughters, Lauren Elyse Ammerman and Josie Wyles Ammerman; two brothers, Marvin Douglas (Judy) Harney and Larry Wyles (Carla) Harney, of Cynthiana; a sister, Janet Bertram, of Mount Olivet; and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 18, at Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home, officiated by Brother Kevin Strausbaugh and Brother Lawrence Combs. Burial will follow the service in Battle Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lauren Elyse and Josie Wyles Ammerman Scholarship Fund through Central Bank.
