Arthur J. Hicock, 76, of Manchester, NJ, passed away on Thursday September 20, 2016 at Deborah Heart and Lung Hospital in Browns Mills, NJ.
Born in Jersey City, Arthur resided in Garwood for many years before moving to Manchester in 2002. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and worked as a manager for Star Optical in Linden, NJ for 20 years. Arthur also worked part time in the computer room on the Joint Base McGuire-Dix in Lakehurst, a job he truly enjoyed and he would often take his grandchildren there with him. He also loved everything sports, including the GIANTS! But his most favorite thing he loved to do was spend time with his grandchildren. Arthur was a true people person and he be dearly missed.
Arthur is survived by his devoted wife of 51 years, Terry Hicock, his three children MaryEllen Hicock-Tronio and her husband Paul, Robert Hicock and his wife Christine, and Brian Hicock, his grandchildren Jason, Justin, Sarah, Riley, Jacob and Grant. He is also survived by his sister Gerry Williams and brother Robert Hicock, as well as his grandog Bentley.
