Violene Corley 96, of Newport, KY passed away February 3, 2016. She had worked most of her life as a waitress and a manager at Walgreens. She is survived by her children Steve (Kathy) Chuke and Mary Ann Swope, 11 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son George Chuke. A visitation will be held on Monday Feb. 8, 2016 at Cooper Funeral Home from 10am until the time of services at 12:30pm. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Cemetery.
