Elsie H. King
MERIDIAN Services for Elsie H. King, 79, of Meridian Route 2, who died Friday at a Boise hospital, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Robinson Chapel of the Chimes.
The Rev. John Silliker of the First Baptist Church of Ustick will officiate. Interment will be at Terrace Lawn Cemetery.
Mrs. King was born July 15, 1891, at Gentryville, Mo. She came to Leslie, Idaho, in 1906 from Missouri. She taught school at Berenice, Idaho, in 1913. She was married to J. Harby King on Oct. 14, 1914, at Arco. They came to Meridian in 1946.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ustick.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Dwight King, Eagle; two daughters, Mrs. Osa Kratz and Mrs. Freida Gleck, both of Boise; two sisters, Mrs. Avis Belnap, Vale, and Mrs. Minnie McClelland, Ashland, Ore.; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Janice King.
Those who wish may send flowers or memorials may be sent to the Cancer Fund or to a favorite charity.
Active pallbearers will be Dowell Demaray, Delwin King, Rick Bohter, Dale Wilkins, Charles Stephenson and Rex Blaksley.
Honorary pallbearers will be Oscar Raines, Frank Knight, Dr. Maurice Burkholder, Dr. Clinton Howard, Claude Johnson and Phillip Clucas.
