John W. Anderson, 92, Easton, Missouri passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at a Mosaic Life Care.
He was born September 1, 1924 to Bryan and Dollie (Potts) Anderson in Whitesville, Missouri.
Mr. Anderson served in the U.S. Navy during World War II with the Navy Sea-Bees serving in the Pacific Theatre.
He married Lois Nold on June 24, 1951. She preceded him in death on May 4, 2002.
John worked as a crop and livestock farmer in the Easton, Missouri area.
He was a member of Clair United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Lois Anderson; son, Leonard Anderson; and brother, Charles Anderson.
Survivors include his two sons, Larry J. Anderson (Susan), Blue Springs, Missouri and Lynn W. Anderson (Rhonda), Easton, Missouri; brother, Robert Dean Anderson (Sherry), St. Joseph, Missouri; five grandchildren, Carolyn Anderson, Laura Harrity (Derek), April Anderson, Ashley Roberts (J.T.) and Audrey Anderson; and two great grandchildren, Samuel James Roberts and Ellie Jean Harrity.
Farewell Services 1:00 P.M. Saturday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery.
