Graveside services for Alene Griffin, 92, of Lubbock are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, 2006 at the Earth Memorial Cemetery in Earth with Rev. Glenn Harlin officiating.
Alene passed away Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2006.
She married Abe Griffin in Olustee, Okla. in 1933. She was preceded in death by her husband, Abe; her son, Larry Griffin; and her sister, Dene Wendborn.
Mrs. Griffin previously worked for the City of Earth and served as Lamb County Justice of the Peace.
Mrs. Griffin is survived by: one grandson, Micah Griffin of Lubbock; one granddaughter, Sharla McConnell of Lubbock; one great grandson, Shaun McConnell; and one daughter-in-law, Ann Griffin of Abernathy.
