She was born July 6, 1922, in Denmark Township, the daughter of Asa and Hazel (Evans) Gochneaur and has been a lifetime area resident.
She had worked for Premix in North Kingsville for eighteen and a half years, retiring in 1985.
She was a member of The First Baptist Church in Kingsville; the Orion Chapter #12 OES; the Kingsville Village Golf League and the TOPS group where she was Kops at TOPS.
She enjoyed bowling and golf. For many years, she donated blood to the American Red Cross.
Surviving are two sons, Robert W. Moore of Ashtabula and Walter L. Moore of Vancouver, Wash.; two daughters, Darlene A. Labry of Kingsville and Shelia (Al) Rae Kaesman of Kingsville; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Walter in 2003; a great-grandson, Corey Overly; two brothers, Robert and Merlon Gochneaur; and a sister, Betty Wright.
Funeral Services will be 11 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 13th, at the Ashtabula Home of FLEMING & BILLMAN FUNERAL DIRECTORS AND CREMATORY, 526 W. Prospect Road, Ashtabula, with the Rev. David Hines, of the First Baptist Church of Kingsville, officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memory Gardens, North Kingsville,
Calling Hour will be Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of Service at the Funeral Home with Orion Chapter #12 conducting an Eastern Service at 10:50 a.m.
