Alice was born on September 11, 1928 in Pitts, Georgia to the late Robert Fulton Brantley, Sr. and Zora Octavia Brantley. After graduating from Pitts High School, she moved to Atlanta where she worked for two years while her fiancé was overseas. When L.A. Bullock returned from the Pacific during WWII, they married in 1946. In 1950, she and L.A. moved to Warner Robins where he began his longtime career at Warner Robins Supply Company. Alice stayed home to raise their family and was a devoted homemaker, excellent seamstress and great cook. Once the children were grown, she then put her talent to work as an interior designer for Warner Robins Supply Company. Alice enjoyed hosting family gatherings, Sunday School parties and decorating for the church. She was a member of Second Baptist Church and Joy Jubilee Sunday School Class.
Preceding Alice in death were her parents, her beloved husband of 59 years, L.A. Bullock; son, Donald "Donnie" F. Bullock; grandson, Mark A. White and three siblings.
Visitation with Alice's family will be Friday, October 14, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00a.m. on Saturday, October 15, 2016 in the Chapel of McCullough. Following the service, Mrs. Bullock will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Mausoleum.
The family respectfully suggest donations be given to the Alzheimer's Association, 886 Mulberry Street, Macon, Ga 31201 or Second Baptist Church, 2504 Moody Road, Warner Robins, Ga 31088.
