Mrs. Jane Baker, a sister, was in the room at the time Mrs. Boatman fell headlong from her chair. She summoned a physician, but Mrs. Boatman was beyond assistance. She had been afflicted with heart disease for a number of years. She was the widow of Daniel Boatman, and the family formerly lived at Iowa Point where the body was taken for burial, the funeral being held yesterday afternoon.
