"Mrs. Anna S. Benedict, widow of the late Joseph Benedict, and a former resident of Cobleskill, passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Archie Borst, in Albany last Thursday. Death was due to a stroke, Mrs. Benedict having been ill the past three months. Mrs. Benedict was 71 years of age having been born at East Galloway, the daughter of Alonzo McKee and Salina Horton. With her husband and family she was a resident of this village for a number of years. Funeral services were held here at the Brown undertaking chapel Saturday afternoon with Rev. Freeman S. Kline of Albany, former local pastor, officiating. Burial was made in the Cobleskill cemetery. Mrs. Benedict is survived by one son, Lester F. of Gloversville and a daughter, Mrs. Ada Borst of Albany, and three grandchildren, Anna and Carl Borst of Albany and Esther Benedict of this village.
