Jesse was the son of Minnie and Albert H. Bright, He is survived at the time of his death by his wife Joyce McCallum and his parents one daughter Jennifer Dawn Bright and 4 brothers, John Thomas of Jacksonville, Fla., Albert Jerry,James Walton and Jared Alfred of Chester, S.C. a number of nieces and nephews. He died at the Medical College Hospital of Charleston, S.C. on July 5, 1973. He had been diagnosed six months previous with Hodgkins Disease. Funeral was conducted at Second Baptist Church,Chester, S.C. and burial was at Chester Memorial Gardens in Chester, S.C. Previously he had been a supervisor at Megastar, Inc. of Chester, S.C.
Jesse was only 27 when he passed but he was a fine example of a young man. He loved his family and loved working on automobiles in his spare time. He never complained when sick and knew his Saviour. He was a smart man with a photographic memory and always took time out for others. He is greatly missed by all his family.
