MRS. S. P. BARTLETT DIED LAST EVENING—WAS AN OLD

Death came last evening at 10 o clock, relieving her from her suffering.

Duncan, pioneers of Adams county, being among this county's first settlers. She was united In marriage to Col S. P. Bartlett in 1861 and had resided In Quincy continually since.

Mrs. Bartlett was an excellent woman, widely known and most highly esteemed by all who knew her. While she had been i11 for a long time and her friends knew that she could not recover, still the news of her passing is received with sincere regret by all who knew her.
