2nd wife of:
William Huffman "Bill Huff" Harris

Mother of Dewey Harris Sr.

FamilySearch has her maiden name as Sudbee (which is how Ancestry has also indexed her) but this seems to be an erroneous interpretation of her name on her son Dewey's death certificate. It actually looks more like "Sudler" but other sources have listed her maiden name as "Sluder."

When she married William Huffman Harris a newspaper announcement of the time said that it was a 2nd marriage for each of them, and listed Lottie's last name as Suttka, but so far no record of a 1st marriage for her has been uncovered.

Note: Lottie became estranged from her husband William Huff Harris and is said to have left him & taken their son Dewey with her. They ended up living in Louisville. This occurred between 1900 and 1910. Subsequently, the 1910, 1920 and 1930 censuses all show William as widowed, as does Lottie's death certificate in 1927 even though William was still living until 1934.
