Residence was not listed; 23 years old. Enlisted on 8/20/1861 at Tallahassee, FL as a Private. On 8/20/1861 he mustered into "M" Co. FL 2nd Infantry. He was discharged on 12/26/1861. On 3/3/1862 he mustered into "G" Co. FL 5th Infantry. He deserted on 4/15/1865 to US forces. (Note: Like many other troops retreating from Petersburg, he was listed as a deserter, when he had actually been captured during the retreat. Contributor: Tim Pruitt (49781109))
