ARPIN — Mrs. Barbara A. Kadlec, 90, Route 2, died early Saturday at her home.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Rembs/Kundinger Chapel, Marshfield. Services will be private.
The Rev. George A. Stashek of St. Francis Catholic Church is to officiate. Burial will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
William Kieffer, Duane Fischer, James Rigotti, Al Vanden Bergen, Ed Tischendorf and Herman Albrecht Sr. will be pallbearers.
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home. There will be no visitation Tuesday. St. Francis Altar-Rosary Society conducted a rosary service Sunday at the church.
The former Barbara A. Jackering was born July 15, 1889 in Lancaster to George and Anna Jackering and attended schools there.
On Jan. 18, 1911 at Lancaster, she was married to Frank Kadlec. The couple came to central Wisconsin in 1914 and were owners and operators of cheese factories in Stanley, Auburndale, Pittsville, Granton and Arpin. They also operated a mink farm in the town of Arpin for 10 years prior to Mr. Kadlec's death April 8, 1957.
Mrs. Kadlec was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, its Altar-Rosary Society, and Birthday Club, a former member of Homemakers Club, and former member and officer of North Arpin School.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Ann Reif, and a son, Rudy, both of Route 2, Arpin; a granddaughter; and one great-grandson. A daughter died in infancy.
A brother, Ben Jackering of Lancaster, and a sister, Mrs. Clarence (Elizabeth) Klein of Potosi. also survive.
