GEORGE R. JOHNSON, 73, PASSES; FUNERAL TO BE HELD SATURDAY
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in Macy's chapel for George Richard Johnson, Carlton, who died Wednesday. Mr. Johnson was 73 years old. The Rev. Woods, Carlton, will officiate.
He was born May 6, 1865, on the Black Hawk Johnson donation land claim in Carlton, Oregon.
Surviving him are five sisters, Mrs. Lulu Johnson, Los Angeles, Cal.; Mrs. Alice Stallcop, Carlton; Mrs. Dale Messenger, Carlton; Mrs. Katherine Spence, Portland, and Agnes Johnson, Portland.
Burial will be in McBride cemetery.
