Obituary.
Sycamore Springs, Kan., March 8, 1885, Walter Wilson died at his home near this place March 6th after a lingering illness of six weeks. He was born in Wyandotte county, May 30th, 1854, where he had always lived until within a year of his death. He reached his new home in Butler county Feburary 17th, 1884. He was a business man of the strictest integrity. The funeral services was conducted by Rev. E. Cameron and largely attended. A brother and his aged mother from Ohio being present; also another brother from an adjoining county. Deceased leaves a wife and three little girls to mourn his untimely death. He was a devoted husband, kind father and good neighbor. Volumes could not say more.
