Mrs. Coleman was born in Treutlen County and was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel Lawton and Lillie Crawford Beck, her husband of fifty years, Carl Kenneth Coleman, and her sister, Vertie Lee Horne. She was retired from Robins Air Force Base and was a Baptist. She loved to cook, sew, garden, and take care of others.
Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home, Soperton, at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 9, with Reverend John Drake officiating. Burial will be in Westview Cemetery, Soperton.
A visitation will be held at the funeral home one hour before the services on Sunday.
