Nathan Robinson Shubert, 97, of Carthage, passed away on October 4, 2016, in Carthage. He was born on April 29, 1919, in Farmersville, Texas, to John Wesley Shubert and Katie Elizabeth Shubert. He served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII and was honorably discharged after 4 years of service. He married Mary Jo Rogers on February 14, 1947. He worked in the oil field services industry for many years, retiring in 1984 from Atlantic Richfield. Mr. Shubert enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents; numerous siblings; and son, Roger Lee Shubert.
