Major (retired) Laurence Edwin Darlington, Jr. passed away at his residence on Friday, September 30, 2016. He was 86.
Major Darlington was born in Corvallis, Oregon to the late Laurence Edwin Darlington, Sr. and Dorothy Dunham Darlington. Upon graduation from Frankfurt American High School, he attended the University of Oregon where he received his Bachelor's Degree.
He retired from the Army having served in both the Korean and Vietnam Wars. After his career with the military he worked for the State of Alabama ABC board upon his retirement.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Tom Darlington and a grandson, Ryan Elderidge.
