Robert Wagster Overton Jr., age 68 of Lexington passed away Saturday October 1,2016 in Nashville.
He was a retired factory supervisor and a member of First Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife; Melinda Norwood Overton, his mother; Jewell Overton of Brownsville, Tn. , 2 sisters; Bonnie (Terry) Patterson of Bells,Tn. and Patty Byrd of Arlington,Tn., 2 brothers; Jimmy (Carolyn) Gregory of Oakland,Tn. and Albert (Lisa) Overton of Murfreesboro,Tn. a grandson; Damian Heath Reeves and Damians mother and step-father; Jenifer and Danyell Flatt.
He was preceded in death by a son Jason Andrew Overton and his father Robert Overton.
Funeral services will be Tuesday October 4 at Reeds Chapel with burial to follow in the Haywood County Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be Monday 5PM-8PM and Tuesday 11AM until service.
