Mrs. Violet C. Cotell Eacobacci, 94, of Duxbury died Thursday, August 16, 2002 in her home after a long illness. The daughter of the late Herbert and Rosanna Ellis Cotell, she was born in Hanson on July 29, 1908. She was raised and educated in Yarmouth and lived in Hanover until moving to Pembroke in 1976. She has been a resident of Duxbury the past 15 years. Mrs. Eacobacci was formerly employed as a Telephone Operator. Wife of the late Dominic W. "BABE" Eacobacci, she is survived by a daughter, Sallie A. Fair and her husband Fred of Duxbury and Jacksonville Beach FL and several nieces and Nephews, including Jean Akins of Pocasset and Donald Cotell of Randolph. Funeral Mass on Tuesday, August 20, 2002 at 9 AM in St. Mary of the Sacred Heart Church, 392 Hanover Street, Rte 139 in Hanover. Interment in Hanover Center Cemetery. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington Street, Rte 53 in Hanover on Monday from 3-7 PM. Memorial Donations may be made to the Cranberry Area Hospice, 36 Cordage Park Circle, Suite 326, Plymouth, MA 02360.
