Esther Fink Hinschberger, 79, died April 3, 1989 in the Griggs County Nursing Home. The funeral was in St. George Catholic Church Thursday, April 6.
Esther Dinger was born October 22, 1909 in Wyndmere, North Dakota, daughter of the late Jess and Gertie (Heyen) Dinger. She grew up and attended school there. She was married to Ben H. Fink June 29, 1929 in Rapid City, South Dakota. They lived in Mooreton, North Dakota, Eden South Dakota, Perley, Minnesota and Page before they came to Cooperstown in 1945. Mr. Fink died in 1968. She was married to Lawrence Hinschberger in 1973. She became a resident of the Griggs County Nursing Home April 30, 1986.
She is survived by one son, Ben Fink of Wahpeton, two daughters, Mrs. Jack (Lois) Curtis, Cooperstown and LeAnn Cleaver, Wadena, Minn.; her husband, Lawrence, Cooperstown; two brothers, Roy and Walter, both of Wyndmere, two sisters, Mabel Herman of Detroit Lakes, Minn., and Lula Williamson of Milnor, eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Two sisters and a brother preceded her in death.
