A Clark County area resident, Louise L. Ahseln, 85, died in Vancouver Friday, July 23, 1999. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Ahseln was born April 4, 1914, in Stantonville, Tenn.

Mrs. Ahseln was a member of the Camas Church of the Nazarene and taught Sunday School there. She enjoyed making quilts and donating them to the needy. She also enjoyed gardening and flowers.

Her husband, Fred A., died in 1961, and a daughter, Beverly, died in 1985.

Survivors include one daughter, Naomi Shackleton of Camas; two sons, Wayne Fullbright of Washougal and William Ahseln of North Pole, Alaska; two sisters, Dorothy Marshall of Herrin, Ill., and Jomarie Albright of Corinth, Miss.; 18 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the church. There will be a private graveside.

Memorial contributions may be made to the church, 2204 N.E. Birch St., Camas, WA 98607.

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, 1999, in Camas Church of the Nazarene for Louise L. Ahseln, who died July 23 at age 85.

Mrs. Ahseln was born April 4, 1914, in Stantonville, Tenn. She moved to Vancouver, Wash., in 1948 and had lived in Washougal, Wash., since the mid-1960s. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the church and a Sunday school teacher there. In 1947, she married Fred; he died in 1961.

Survivors include her sons, Wayne Fullbright of Washougal and William of North Pole, Alaska; daughter, Naomi Shackleton of Camas; sisters, Dorothy Marshall of Herrin, Ill., and JoMarie Albright of Corinth, Miss.; 18 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Private interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Vancouver. The family suggests remembrances to her church, 2204 N.E. Birch St., Camas, WA 98607. Arrangements are by Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel in Vancouver.
