Earnestine Electa Carroll Boshell, age 77, passed away Nov. 5, 2009. Born in February in Pickens County Ala and was raised in Walker County Ala. Earnestine was known as Tena to her friends. She eloped with her high school sweetheart Courtney 58 × years ago and was looking forward to their sixtieth. They enjoyed fishing, hunting, scalloping, jumping in the car for an impromptu vacation or just each other's company. They especially did when Courtney retired from JEA twenty years ago. Tena had many accomplishments in her lifetime but the one that meant the most to her was her family. From her children to her great-grandchildren they all knew who to call for the answer to any question that was on their mind. Tena and Courtney had four children, sons Kenneth, Butch (Bobbie), daughters Connie Ann (Ron Bounds), And Vickie (Steve Purvis). Grandchildren: Lucrietia, Leslie, KC, Sonya (Joe), Shawn (Tiffany), Scottie (Mary Carroll), Sarah (Chris), David (Diana), Cecil (Erin), Jason (Ann). Great-Grandchildren: Steven, Victoria, Chad, Michaela, Nicole, Travis, Kayla, Cody, Dusty, Mack, Bryan, Paige, C.J., Trey, Lexie. Great-Great-Grandchild: Caden. Tena is survived by two sisters Betty (Joe), Mildred (Joe), two brothers Bryant, Marion (Janice), One brother in-law Harold (Maybelline) and countless nieces and nephews who loved Tena and were loved by her.
