MONDAY.

News was received here Sunday afternoon of the death at his home of Mr. William Kirby Sr., at three o'clock, after a lingering illness from pneumonia. He was one of the oldest citizens of Eckhart Mine and was sixty years old. Mr. Kirby was well known by a number of people at this place. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Margaret Kirby, and the following children, William Kirby Jr., John R. Kirby, Mrs. Charley Atkinson, Misses Rose and Ella Kirby, all of Eckhart mines and Mrs. Charley Welsh, of Borden mine. The funeral will take place Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock from St. Michael's Catholic church, of which the deceased was a consistent member.
