Mrs. Dorothy Kate Stewart Reynolds, age 90, of Rome passed away Thursday September 28, 2016.
Mrs. Reynolds, was born March 5, 1926, in Hamilton County Tennessee, a daughter of the late Marvin C. Stewart, and Vera Inez Hall Stewart. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church, she was retired from Floyd Medical Center after several years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Reynolds, daughter, Doris Elaine Honea, brothers, Bob and James Stewart, sisters, Yleen Brown, and Ella Jane Balliew.
Survivors include her daughter Linda (Bill) Bray, Rome; sisters, Polly Dean, Calhoun; Marie Bentley, Calhoun; grandchildren, John Harris, Lisa O'Neill, Stacy Sitz, and Jeremy Honea, 9 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday October 2, 2016, at Good Shepherd Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Larry Wilkins, officiating. Interment will follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from12:30 P.M. until the hour of the service on Sunday, at Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Ave. Rome, Ga. 30165.
