Mary Alice Crowe quietly slept away, Wednesday, May 11, 2016 in Williamsport Nursing Home.
Born June 30, 1941, in Frostburg, MD, she was the daughter of the late George A. and Beatrice G. (McCormick) Bender.
She graduated from Beall High School and Frostburg State Teachers College, retiring as the Media Specialist at Boonsboro High School.
In 2015, she had a surprise 74th birthday party, and during that summer, she drove a jet ski on the Potomac River.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Crowe; and brothers, Aden and Joseph.
She is survived by a brother, Paul Bender; sisters-in-law, Madeline and Irene Bender; and eight nephews and nieces.
Burial will be private in accordance with her wishes.
