Donald Elliott Fraser, age 89, died Friday, November 17, 1995 at Rock Haven Nursing Home where he resided. He was born September 4, 1906 in Magnolia Township, the son of Edgar Elliott and Nellie (Townsend) Fraser. Donald married Grace Schwartz on June 25, 1930 in Rockford, Illinois; she died July 12, 1988. He began work at Fisher Body division of General Motors in 1935, and his tour of service included work in the body and inspection departments. He retired in October of 1966. Mr. Fraser was a member and served 25 years on the executive board of the U.A.W. Local 95. He was a member of Moose Lodge #197 since 1976.

In addition to his parents and wife, Don was predeceased by a brother Owen, a sister Lillian, and a son Richard. He was survived by 3 children, ten grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 3 sisters: Evelyn, Lois, and Dolores.

Visitation from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, November 20, 1995, and funeral Services Tuesday, November 21, 1995 were held at Schneider Funeral Home with Rev Harold Kromrey officiating. Interment in Maple Hill Cemetery, Evansville.
