He was born October 9, 1924 in Rowena, Texas to Jacob J. and Frances (Zly) Binder. He served his country during World War II, as a member of the United States Army, and was honorably discharged in 1946.
After leaving the service, he returned home and married Betty Jean Johnson on June 20, 1956 in Ballinger. They shared 49 years together before her passing on June 11, 2006. Willie was a life-long farmer and had a great passion for fishing. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and the VFW Rowena post.
Wille was preceded in death by his wife; parents; brother, Edmund Binder, Sr.; and a nephew, Joe Binder.
He is survived by his daughter, his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a special friend, Pauline, cousin, Edward, and several nieces nephews.
Mass September 29 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Ballinger. Burial at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Rowena.
